I have been in education for over 25 years, first as a Behavior Analyst and for the past ten years as a teacher that supports students with serious emotional exceptionalities and other invisible disabilities. As an educator, I prioritize the socio-emotional needs of my students and prepare them for success in their adult life.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University, I have a Master in Education from the University of Denver and received Licensure in Education Administration from CU Denver.

I'm coming from Denver North High School, as their Affective Needs, Math, Social Studies, and English co-teacher, and also served as their Summer School Administrator, where I had the privilege of serving the Northside Community. (Feel free to watch the video)

I was born in Queens, NY, but my family roots span across Europe and South America: My Mother was born in Portugal, my biological father was born in Ecuador, and my Dad immigrated from Romania.

I am the mother of two amazing girls, Adelina and Mya. And I recently was married to a wonderful man, Hugo Javier. Life is good, and I cherish every moment with my family.

My daughters received all their education here in Littleton and are both working in the healthcare field. My husband Hugo works as a data scientist in the Human Resources department for Denver Public Schools. Seeing my loved ones pursuing their dreams and making a difference in their fields is fantastic. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful family!

I've been part of the Littleton community since I was a kid. At home, we share our lives with two very unique cats: King Julien (in the video) and Pearl (posing for the photographer), We love outdoor activities, gardening, hiking, traveling, and exploring the beautiful nature around us.

Littleton is truly a wonderful place to call home.
